Blog Update!
I am super excite to start a brand new year at Morton Elementary School.
2014-2015 will be the best year yet!

Let start off with a "Look Back" at some amazing art that was create last year before this blog was up and rolling. This year, I'll post bi-monthly to keep everyone in-the-ART-know.
 It's time to get Nostalgic!

Lets start with Kindergarten...
Texture Rubbings: We investigated our new school and captured some textured on our "Spots".  After putting them together, we shared in our groups where we went, what we found, and how it felt!

Literature Inspiration: Harold and the Purple Crayon taught us how to be creative and use our imaginations.  Only using purple paper shapes and purple crayons,  we made pictures that Harold would be proud of!
Thanksgiving Reflections: After talking about what we are thankful for, the Kinders practiced their writing and drawing skills to create a "Thankful Bracelet" key.  Each color bead represents something special and their key helped them explain the meaning of their bracelet during sharing time.
