Mrs. Waddell...a little about me!

Welcome to Art Class!

My name is Mrs. Holley Waddell and I am the Art Teacher at Morton Elementary School.  

I started teaching here in August 2013.

Here's a little about me!

• I graduated high school from Swansboro High... Go Pirates!
• I have a Bachelors in Art Education, certified K-12 from Appalachian State University... Go Mountaineers!
• I am a Teaching Fellow.
• I taught High School Visual Arts for 6 years in Johnston County before coming here.
• I have a little boy named Colby.
• I have Golden Retriever name Pearl.
• I have a terrible sweet tooth and could eat pizza for every meal!
• I really enjoy drawing and getting super crafty.

The wife of my high school sweet heart, the daughter of my heroes, stuck in the middle of the best sisterhood trio EVER, a teacher of creativity, a mother of two amazing kiddos, and in lifelong friendships with truly beautiful people… I am blessed!

This is Colby.  He will be 8 years old in October.  

This is Amelia.  She will be 4 in April.  She loves to play all day!
