Weaving Wonders! 

Recycled T-shirt yarn + Hulla Hoops = Super Awesome Kindergarten Rugs!

I am so proud of our littlest artists here at Morton!  We just completed our weaving unit and (with lots of dedication and patience) we've got some great art to share.  Each class collaboratively wove a set of circle rugs using our "Over, Under" pattern.  Once these beauties are done being displayed, there will be donated to the library as special "Reading Spots"!     

And while my Kinders were waiting their turn to work on the class rugs, they practiced their weaving skills individually creating these paper quilts.
