Oil Pastel "Crayons"
(Drawing inspiration from Mini Masterpieces)
These colorful crayons were created through blending oil pastels.  Our goal was to simulate space and make it look like a real pile of crayons through the use of overlapping, shadows and highlights.  We also had to work with several different partners to create the "linked effect".  While we did learn a lot about creating the illusion of space, we learned even more about how to work together to reach a common goal!

“We could learn a lot from crayons; some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, while others bright, some have weird names, but they all have learned to live together in the same box.”
